What this shop sells

Files, not printing

Every collection here is a set of editable templates. You buy a link, the link makes your own copy of the template inside a free Canva account, you type your names and your dates over the wording, and you export a print-ready PDF.

Printing is not included in any order here and no printed goods are supplied. What you buy is the file. You take the exported PDF to whichever printer you like, at home or on the high street, and pay them separately for the paper and the printing.

There is nothing to wait for in the post and nothing to install. Orders are delivered by email. The link stays live for 60 days from the order and can be used up to 5 times.

The four collections

Pick the wedding, then pick the pieces

Each collection is drawn once and then worked through all three pieces, so an invitation, a seating chart and a table of menus look like they came from the same hand. Pieces are sold one at a time: take the whole set or take one.

The Olive Garden collection laid out flat on cream: a large landscape sheet, a tall card with an olive sprig low on it, a long narrow strip, and smaller cards below, each carrying a small sprig at one corner.

OG · Softly drawn olive, wide margins, roman capitals

Olive Garden

Olive sprigs drawn softly, laid along one edge and left to run off it. Names are set in roman capitals with a great deal of margin around them, so the drawing carries the page and the type keeps out of its way.

The Modern Type collection laid out flat on grey: a tall card divided by a vertical line, a landscape card with a horizontal rule, a long narrow strip and several small cards, all plain white and all ruled with a single hairline.

MT · Type only, one rule, nothing else on the page

Modern Type

No ornament at all. The type does the work: one grotesque, three sizes, a single hairline rule and a lot of paper left empty. Built for couples who want the wording to be the design.

The Coastal Blue collection laid out flat on sand: a large sheet with the blue wash running across it, a deckle-edged envelope, a tall card, and smaller cards around them, every one carrying the same tideline.

CB · A low wash, two blues, a deckle foot

Coastal Blue

A soft wash that sits low on the page like a tideline, with the type set above it. Two blues and an off-white, and a deckle edge along the foot of each piece.

The Meadow Bloom collection laid out flat on linen: a large sheet with flowers at its corners, tall and landscape cards around it, and smaller cards below, every one scattered with the same small blooms.

MB · A scattered meadow, thick at one corner

Meadow Bloom

Small flowers scattered rather than arranged, thickest at one corner and thinning across the page. The type is set in the clear part, and the scatter is different on every piece so a table never looks printed twice.

Sizes when printed

What comes off the press

Every template is built at a standard trimmed size with 3 mm bleed and crop marks, so any printer can take the file without being asked to redraw it. Olive Garden is shown; the other three collections print at the same sizes.

Editing

Four steps, in a browser

The templates open in a web browser. Nothing is installed, and no design software is bought: the link makes your own copy of the template inside your Canva account and you edit it there.

Every photograph, drawing, shape and typeface used in these templates is on Canva’s free plan, so nothing in them asks you to upgrade. Canva also sells a paid plan and a per-element charge for its premium library; neither is needed for anything in this shop, and if you add a premium element of your own while editing, that charge is between you and Canva.

Any PDF reader, to check the print-ready PDF before it goes to a printer.

  1. Open the link in the order email. Canva makes a copy of the template in your own account and leaves the original alone, so you can start again at any point.

  2. Type over the wording: names, dates, times, the address of the venue, the reply-by date, the table names and anything else that is yours.

  3. Move or resize the text boxes if your wording runs long. The drawings and washes are on their own layer and stay where they are unless you move them.

  4. Export with Canva’s Share menu, choosing PDF Print with crop marks and bleed. That is the file your printer wants.

Start with the collection, not the piece

Four styles of wedding, twelve pieces, and matching sets in every one of them. Everything is a file, everything is editable, and nothing is printed for you.
